Accept Health Insurance
Undergraduate exchange students are automatically enrolled in the Georgetown Premier Plan. Students will need to accept this insurance in MyAccess prior to arriving at Georgetown in order to have access to health insurance benefits.
Once students are enrolled and have accepted their insurance, they will be able to create an account and download their insurance card and enrollment letter on Gallagher Student website. Any questions about this should be directed to the Student Health Insurance Office located at 1420 36th Street NW.
Insurance coverage begins on August 15 for fall and full year students and on January 1 for spring semester students. Students who arrive in the United States prior to those dates are encouraged to purchase a supplemental health insurance policy for that period of time.
