OGE Operating Status

The Office of Global Education (OGE) is open and operating in a hybrid capacity. Our office remains committed to supporting the Georgetown community.

OGE Business Hours

OGE staff members are available during normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and can be reached by email, phone, and scheduled appointments (virtual or in-person).

OGE Phone

The OGE phone line (202-687-3132) is monitored during normal business hours. We highly encourage you to leave a voicemail (if prompted) with your first and last name, phone number, email address, and a brief message describing your inquiry. Calls will be returned during normal business hours as soon as possible.

Drop-In Hours

Drop-in advising hours are not currently available. Students are able to schedule virtual meetings with advisors. Please see below for further information regarding how to set up a virtual advising appointment with an Advisor.

Advising Appointment Request

To start learning about the study abroad process, sign up to attend a Study Abroad 101 (new window) session hosted by an OGE Peer Advisor. Students who have completed Study Abroad 101 and who want to discuss studying abroad should visit the Make an Appointment (new window) page for information about scheduling an appointment or for next steps on getting guidance on the program(s) they are considering.

Concerns Regarding COVID-19

Please ensure you are monitoring Georgetown University Related Guidance to COVID-19. You can find information about the University’s response to COVID-19 at Georgetown’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) Resource Center (new window).

Upon entering the Office of Global Education, you may use your own mask or request one at the front desk. We also have hand sanitizer and restrooms available to wash your hands. If you have symptoms of COVID-19, tested positive for COVID-19, or had a direct contact test positive for COVID-19, please follow university guidelines. You may also switch your in-person appointment to a zoom/virtual appointment by contacting your OGE Advisor.
