*Split Years
Split Year (Academic Year or Calendar Year) refers to spending a year abroad on two different programs.
Split Year applications (Split Full Year OR Split Calendar Year) must be submitted for both programs by the deadline for the first program site (February for Split Year or September/October for Split Calendar Year). You must meet with an OGE Advisor to have the second term of the split year opened on your behalf. Late or mid-year requests for a split year study abroad will not be considered.
Requests for extensions from a fall to full year or spring to calendar year within the existing program may be available but are subject to review for both feasibility and academic merit. Such requests must be discussed with the OGE Advisor and dean ahead of the commitment date for the subsequent term.
