Spring 2017 Students: Submit your photos to the Study Abroad Photo Contest
Have you captured some incredible moments and memories so far while abroad? Want to share these photos from your phone and camera with prospective study abroad students and the Georgetown community? Are you interested in winning cool prizes when you come back to campus? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we want YOU to enter the Study Abroad Photo Contest!
These are the four categories:
1. People and Portraits: Capture an artistic shot of a person or group of people you’ve encountered abroad, keeping in mind ethical considerations and the person’s consent. In your description, reflect on this encounter and your relationship with the person(s) in the photo.
2. Landscapes and Cityscapes: Capture an image that provides a glimpse into your study abroad surroundings.
3. Global Classroom: Capture a photo that illustrates a learning experience you had while abroad. In your description, consider how your perspective has changed as a result of this experience.
4. #HoyasAbroad: Capture a fun photo of you and/or your fellow Hoyas in your local context. This is a way to show off your Georgetown spirit and have fun, maybe even wearing Georgetown gear or displaying your Hoya pride in some other way.
